Snowshoe Walking
We offer guided snowshoe walking tours in the winter months. The sport is easy, the views superb and the exercise exhilarating. We supply all the equipment and drive you up the mountain. This is especially good for people who would like to try winter sports, but not skiing. Including the drive up, this takes about 3 hours and we charge Y5,000 per person (minimum 2). Ask us for more information

"Wellies was the perfect base for a ski trip. We went to two resorts within an easy drive and had a brilliant time." -MikeIndiaKiloEcho, February 2014

"There is lots to see in the Karuizawa area: a fabulous art gallery, Seizon Museum of Modern Art which has a fabulous sculpture garden with beautiful walking paths. Of course you have to go to Hatonomachidori shopping street with lots of great little shops with local craft." -Rika C, July 2015
